Paramount 21 visits Brixham Market & Mission Centre

Staff from local frozen seafood manufacturer Paramount 21 recently visited Brixham Market with Seafood Devon & Dorset representatives to improve their knowledge of local and sustainable seafood. The early morning start at the market auction was followed by a warm welcome and full English breakfast at The Fishermen’s Mission. Paramount staff were able to discuss industry topics such as sustainability and view presentations by Seafood Devon & Dorset representatives on The Responsible Fishing Scheme, MSC accredited seafood, landings and seasonality information.

‘The Mission Centre provided an excellent venue for us to hold our meeting with Seafood Devon & Dorset and the breakfast was second to none, in fact we were so impressed with The Mission that we made a donation to help them with the invaluable work and support that they provide to the fishing community’  said MD Ali Hannaford
