NEW ‘Breaded Dill Pickles Fries’
Frozen food producer Paramount 21 has recently expanded its product portfolio with the launch of their new ‘Breaded Dill Pickle Fries’.
The Breaded Dill pickles are made from marinating cucumbers in dill, vinegar seasoning & spices which are cut lengthways into spears, breaded then deep fried for a taste sensation. The Dill Pickles are sweeter than their relative the gherkin and have a delicious sweet tangy flavour and juicy texture which is complimented by the crispy breaded outer coating.
They can be eaten on their own with a creamy ranch style dressing, or be served in a sharing platter, gourmet burger or surf and turf style dish. In fact Dill Pickles are so versatile they can be added to existing dishes such as fish and chips to add innovation and a point of difference to the traditional pub menu.
Sue Cullum, Sales and Marketing Director at Paramount says:
‘We are very excited about our new Breaded Dill Pickle launch following trials at local pubs and fish & chip shops. The response was overwhelming with over 90% positive feedback from customers who had never heard of the product before. Product development is paramount to our business and we are happy that we have found the new ‘onion ring’.
Fit for a king! Although new to the UK market Dill Pickle Fries have been popular among southerners in the USA since the 1960’s, its rumoured that they were one of Elvis Presley’s favourite snacks!
